Kat Powers, East Texas' favorite morning show host always knew she wanted to be on the radio. As luck would have it, her singing talents wouldn't allow that-so 2 years ago she found herself at KYYK filling the air waves with her positivity and humor. Born and raised in East Texas, Powers turned 18 and left as fast as she could, she spent 7 years travelling before realizing home really is where the heart is and returned to her roots.
